The Stranglers... How they never broke huge in America I'll never know. Possibly one of the best live acts I've ever seen. Absolutely menacing live. JJ Burnell's solo LP 'Euroman Cometh' was insanely good. Hugh Cornwell still puts out great stuff...fucking genius...good writer too. To this day I regret not giving Hugh the '59 Tele Creampuff I loaned him at his Whisky A Go Go gig when all their gear was stolen that tour. I lost that guitar down the road and I should have just given it to him...
